The Medmi Process
How it works
From your first question to treatment arriving at your door — here's exactly what to expect, step by step.
Step 1
Complete Your Evaluation
Answer a short set of questions about your hair loss history, health background, and goals. It takes about 2 minutes and there's no obligation.
Step 2
Provider Reviews Your Case
A licensed provider evaluates your information and determines whether treatment is clinically appropriate. If approved, a personalized prescription plan is created for you.
Step 3
Treatment Ships to Your Door
If prescribed, your treatment is dispensed by a state-licensed pharmacy and shipped discreetly. Monthly refills are handled automatically so you never run out.
What to Expect
Your treatment timeline
Individual results vary. These timeframes reflect commonly observed patterns — not guarantees.
Laying the Foundation
Treatment begins working at the follicle level. Many patients notice reduced shedding early on. Consistency every day is critical during this phase.
Early Progress
Some patients begin to notice new growth or increased density. Results are subtle and vary widely. Your provider may check in during this window.
Visible Improvement
This is when many patients report the most noticeable changes. Treatment is ongoing — stopping may reverse progress. Think long-term hair health.
Continued Care
Your provider remains available for check-ins. Prescriptions auto-refill each month so your progress is never interrupted.
Good to Know
Things we want you to understand upfront
Medmi is not a pharmacy or clinic
Medmi is a digital health platform. We coordinate access to independent licensed providers and third-party pharmacies. We do not practice medicine or dispense medications directly.
Prescriptions require provider approval
Not everyone who completes an evaluation will be approved. A licensed provider makes that determination independently based on your health information.
Compounded meds are not FDA approved
Some treatments are compounded medications prepared by state-licensed pharmacies. They are not FDA approved but are legally dispensed with a valid prescription.
Results vary by individual
Response differs by genetics, age, severity, and other factors. No specific outcome is guaranteed. If experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
